Lollike

Christian Lollike is a critically acclaimed Danish playwright and director. Being one of his country’s most influential contemporary playwrights, Lollike’s plays have been staged in Denmark, across Europe, and elsewhere in several languages. As a director, Lollike transgresses aesthetic forms and media, working with both theatre, film, installation, sculpture, concert, ballet, and performance art. Lollike’s works cause excitement, controversy, and, occasionally, public outrage in their persistent address of public debates, urgent societal issues, and political events. For 12 years and until recently, Lollike was the both founder and head of the influential political theatre Sort/Hvid [Black/White] in Copenhagen, winning several awards as both director and playwright. Today, he works regularly on the biggest stages across Europe in addition to having begun writing and directing feature films. In 2024, Lollike founded the international production company Enter Ghost with dramaturg Anders Thrue Djurslev (enterghost.com). Lollike also functions as the curator of Exit Stage in Viborg, Denmark.
