What impact does war have on soldiers and nations? How do you tell a soldier’s story through ballet and is it possible for The Royal Danish Ballet to act the national conscience?
The ballet is a product of collaboration between Christian Lollike, the ballet company Corpus, and veterans of The War in Afghanistan – a war that has cost the life of 43 Danish soldiers and scared the bodies and minds of hundreds. The performance explores the physical and mental consequences of the war.
